Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our Pretoria team. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and practices, along with hands-on experience in threat detection, incident response, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine audits of security controls and systems.
• Lead efforts to enhance the organization’s cybersecurity posture.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all processes.
• Assist in compliance efforts related to data protection regulations.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to security policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles, particularly in threat analysis and incident management

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+
• CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Knowledge of penetration testing techniques: Experience in identifying vulnerabilities through penetration testing.
