Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing innovative mechanical designs and solutions to meet client needs. You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, ensuring that all designs comply with safety standards and regulations. You must be proficient in CAD software and have a strong understanding of material properties and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative mechanical designs that meet project specifications.
• Test prototypes and analyze performance data to refine designs.
• Work closely with suppliers and vendors to source components.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Develop repair and maintenance schedules for mechanical systems.
• Assist in the training of junior engineers and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of mechanical design experience

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in CAD Software (SolidWorks, CATIA)

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent
