Job Description

As a Pharmacist in our esteemed healthcare facility, you will play a crucial role in patient care by managing medication dispensing and counseling patients about their prescriptions. Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage prescription medications and treatments.
  • Assess patient medication regimens and recommend changes where necessary.
  • Collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
  • Keep current with pharmaceutical research and new medication developments.
  • Train and mentor pharmacy staff and interns.
  • Conduct medication therapy management sessions with patients.
  • Participate in community health initiatives and outreach programs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree
  • Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a pharmacy or healthcare environment
