Are you passionate about quality? We are hiring a Quality Assurance Tester in Durban to join our growing team. You will be responsible for running tests, tracking issues, and ensuring that our software is reliable and user-friendly. This role requires a strong focus on detail and an analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies to provide insight on test status.
• Perform thorough regression testing to guarantee no new bugs are introduced.
• Assist in the creation of testing strategy and methodologies.
• Monitor and improve testing effectiveness and reporting.
• Mentor junior QA testers, providing guidance and support.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance

• Performance Testing

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills

Certifications

• Certified Software Tester (CSTE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with SQL: Understanding of SQL for validating test data.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies: Experience working in Agile teams will be beneficial.
