Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, analysis, and problem-solving skills to manage projects from conception to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring that mechanical systems and components are functioning efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
  • Use CAD software to produce detailed design drawings.
  • Test mechanical prototypes and analyze performance data.
  • Ensure all engineering practices align with best practices and standards.
  • Conduct feasibility studies for new projects.
  • Assist in project management to ensure timely delivery.
  • Review and approve engineering changes and modifications.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is an advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in related mechanical engineering roles
