We are seeking a Labor Relations Officer to enhance our HR team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing employee relations, negotiating agreements, and ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws.
Responsibilities
Manage the company's response to labor claims and disputes.
Advise management on the implications of labor laws and regulations.
Facilitate communication between employees and management regarding labor relations.
Conduct workplace investigations into labor-related complaints.
Assist with the preparation and presentation of labor negotiations.
Collaborate with HR to promote employee engagement and satisfaction.
Monitor compliance with Collective Bargaining Agreements.
Research best practices in labor relations and recommend improvements.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or equivalent
Postgraduate qualification in Labour Relations is an advantage
Experience
5+ years of experience in labor relations or employee engagement
