Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations at our Johannesburg facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, inventory management, and team leadership, ensuring efficiency and safety in warehouse operations while maintaining high standards of service.

Responsibilities

• Direct warehouse activities to ensure a smooth operation in line with company policies.
• Optimize stock management and facilitate seamless flow of goods in and out.
• Train and supervise staff in warehouse procedures to ensure peak efficiency.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve warehouse performance.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Manage waste disposal and ensure a clean, organized work environment.
• Collaborate with the supply chain team to forecast inventory needs.
• Address and resolve any issues related to inventory discrepancies or shipment delays.
• Enhance warehouse processes through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare operational reports for upper management review.
