Job Description

We are looking for detail-oriented Woodworking Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders to ensure precision in our manufacturing process. Successful candidates will operate and maintain woodworking machines, ensuring productivity and quality.

Responsibilities

• Ensure machines are set up properly before starting production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during production.
• Maintain cleanliness in the work area, ensuring a safe working environment.
• Report any defects or machinery malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Estimate material and labor costs for projects.
• Help manage inventory of tools and materials required for woodworking tasks.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and challenges.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant vocational training in woodworking or manufacturing

Experience

• 3+ years in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Woodworking Techniques

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience in Furniture Manufacturing: Background in producing wooden furniture and cabinetry.
