Pharmacist

Job Description

As a Pharmacist at Pharmacy Solutions Ltd., you will be key in shaping patient outcomes through your knowledge in pharmaceuticals. Ensure the correct dispensing of medications and lend your expertise to those in our care.

Responsibilities

• Guarantee the safe dispensation of prescriptions and over-the-counter medications.
• Conduct thorough medication reviews and patient assessments.
• Track and report on pharmacy performance and patient outcomes.
• Host health education workshops for the community.
• Lead initiatives to improve pharmacy practices and services.
• Mentor junior pharmacists and pharmacy interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
• Advanced diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in retail pharmacy

Technical Skills

• Medication Therapy Management
• Counseling Techniques

• Team Leadership
• Customer Service

Certifications

• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Fluency in Afrikaans or isiZulu: Bilingual skills are advantageous when communicating with a diverse patient population.
