Job Description

We are seeking a Mental Health Therapist to join our compassionate team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing individual and group therapy, conducting assessments, and developing personalized treatment plans to support clients' mental health needs. You will play a key role in promoting mental well-being in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver effective therapy techniques to enhance clients' coping skills.
  • Monitor and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
  • Advocate for clients' mental health needs.
  • Network with local organizations to improve service access.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to inform treatment strategies.
  • Conduct follow-up assessments to ensure sustained progress.
  • Support clients in setting and achieving personal goals.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Counseling Psychology or related field
  • Specialization in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of direct therapy experience
