Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Social Worker to join our team in Pretoria. This role involves working with individuals and families to assess their needs and provide support, guidance, and advocacy to improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assess client needs and develop tailored intervention strategies.
• Deliver supportive counseling services to clients in crisis.
• Coordinate with local agencies to provide comprehensive care.
• Advocate for necessary services and support systems for clients.
• Document case progress and outcomes for review.
• Engage in community outreach to promote available services.
• Participate in staff meetings and case conferences.
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in client interactions.
• Utilize evidence-based practices in service delivery.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of service plans.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
• Certification in Child Welfare or Mental Health is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in the field of social work
