Job Description

We are searching for a dedicated pharmacist to join our team in Pretoria. You will be responsible for dispensing medication, counseling patients on drug therapy, and ensuring optimal pharmaceutical care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the appropriateness of prescribed medications for patients.
• Advise on drug interactions and contraindications.
• Participate in continuing education to enhance professional knowledge.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff.
• Implement health promotion and disease prevention initiatives.
• Ensure the pharmacy environment complies with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting

Certifications
