Job Description

As a Tariff Inspector, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with tariff regulations within the import/export sector. You will conduct audits, provide guidance to businesses, and collaborate with regulatory bodies to uphold standards. This position requires a keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Audit compliance of imported/exported goods against tariff regulations.
• Respond to queries from businesses regarding tariff rules.
• Develop and deliver training sessions on tariff compliance for stakeholders.
• Create and maintain a robust filing system for audit documentation.
• Coordinate with customs officials for seamless compliance checks.
• Document findings from inspections and follow up on corrective actions.
• Monitor changes in tariff laws and implement necessary adjustments.
• Prepare detailed reports for management on compliance status.
• Engage in stakeholder meetings to ensure adherence to tariff guidelines.
• Regularly liaise with industry representatives to share compliance updates.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Master's degree or equivalent is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in compliance roles.

Certifications
