We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Bloemfontein team. The ideal candidate will focus on implementing and managing cloud infrastructure and build automation tooling, ensuring seamless integration and delivery workflows.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage infrastructure using cloud providers.
• Develop automation scripts for server management tasks.
• Integrate logging and monitoring solutions for better visibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the software lifecycle.
• Advise on best practices to execute software deployments efficiently.
• Facilitate training and walkthroughs for new technologies and tools.
• Streamline processes to reduce time to market for applications.
• Support initiatives for improving service reliability and uptime.
• Evaluate new tools and technologies to enhance performance and scalability.
• Participate in on-call support rotations for system availability.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Master's degree is desirable

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud computing and automation
