DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Bloemfontein team. The ideal candidate will focus on implementing and managing cloud infrastructure and build automation tooling, ensuring seamless integration and delivery workflows.

Responsibilities

• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines for software delivery.
• Identify and resolve system bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure robust testing practices.
• Support the deployment of applications and services.
• Manage backups and disaster recovery plans.
• Instigate process improvements for agile project delivery.
• Interface with vendors for cloud-related services and solutions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies.
• Play a role in shaping the future architecture of our cloud solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Master's degree is desirable

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud computing and automation
