Job Description

As a Public Health Specialist, you will play a critical role in assessing community health needs and promoting effective health strategies in Pretoria. Strong communication and project management skills are essential for collaborating with stakeholders and ensuring the successful delivery of health initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate health education workshops and seminars within communities.
  • Develop communication strategies to effectively promote health initiatives.
  • Monitor health trends and report findings to health department officials.
  • Engage in policy advocacy for improved public health services.
  • Support crisis intervention efforts during health emergencies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
  • Master's degree in Public Health is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of direct experience in community health or epidemiology
