Pattern Maker

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pattern Maker to create patterns for clothing items. The successful candidate will work closely with designers and the production team to ensure patterns meet specifications, with the ability to analyze and modify existing patterns as needed.

Responsibilities

• Utilize CAD software for creating and adjusting patterns.
• Perform pattern grading and marking for different size specifications.
• Participate in fittings and assist in the alteration process to ensure proper fit.
• Resolve pattern-related issues through effective communication with production staff.
• Ensure accurate pattern documentation and updates in the system.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Clothing Production or similar qualification
• Advanced certification in pattern making is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a pattern making role

• Fabric Knowledge
• 3D Pattern Making Software

Advantageous

• 3D Pattern Making Software: Experience with 3D pattern making software is preferred.
• Experience in Fast Fashion: Experience in a fast fashion environment is advantageous.
