Material Moving Worker - Malthouse Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking a Malthouse Laborer to support our brewing team by handling malted grains and ensuring proper equipment operation. This role is essential to maintaining the quality of our brewing process and requires physical strength and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Load and store malted grains following health and safety regulations
• Run machinery and machinery maintenance as needed
• Track inventory of grain supplies and report discrepancies
• Engage with team members to improve workflow and processes
• Document daily activities and inventory levels

Requirements

Education

• Matric / Grade 12

Experience

• Preferably in a production or manufacturing environment

Certifications

• Forklift License
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Forklift Operating Experience: Prior experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or factory setting is preferred.
