Responsibilities

• Conduct full grooming services tailored to the needs of pets.
• Safely handle a variety of pets with care and patience.
• Provide grooming tips to pet owners during consultations.
• Keep the grooming area clean, stocked, and organized.
• Assist with pet intake procedures and client check-outs.
• Monitor pets during grooming for signs of distress or discomfort.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance client relationships.
• Stay updated on the latest pet grooming trends and techniques.
• Participate in promotional events or community outreach.
• Follow health and safety standards to ensure a hygienic environment.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Advanced grooming certification preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in pet grooming is preferred

Technical Skills

• Grooming equipment use
• Pet health awareness

Soft Skills

• Empathy towards animals
• Strong communication

Certifications

• Certified Master Groomer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of pet nutrition: Understanding how diet impacts grooming and overall pet health.
• First aid certification for pets: Certification in pet first aid is a plus.
