Clinical Psychologist

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be experienced in conducting assessments, diagnosing, and treating various mental health issues. You will work closely with clients to develop customised therapeutic plans and support their journey towards mental wellness.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough assessments to identify mental health issues.
• Design and adjust treatment plans for effective outcomes.
• Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions.
• Document client progress and therapeutic interventions accurately.
• Work with interdisciplinary teams to enhance treatment approaches.
• Lead workshops and educational sessions for community awareness.
• Keep abreast of advancements in psychology and therapy techniques.
• Foster a safe and supportive environment for clients.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Psychology or Social Work
• Registration with HPCSA or equivalent

Experience

• At least 3 years in a clinical setting

• Trauma-Informed Care

Certifications

• Certificate in Trauma-Informed Care
• CPR and First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
