Public Health Officer

Job Description

In the role of Public Health Officer, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of public health programs. Your expertise in data analysis and community engagement will help inform health policies and interventions that aim to improve health outcomes across various populations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate public health programs and recommend improvements for best practices.
• Support the development of policies related to health promotion.
• Work collaboratively with public health teams for data collection and analysis.
• Engage in community outreach to inform and educate citizens on health matters.
• Prepare and disseminate public health advisories for the community.
• Assist in funding proposals for community health initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
• Master's degree in Health Policy or related field is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience working within public health frameworks
