Job Description

As a Mechanical Design Engineer with our company, you'll drive the design process, focusing on efficiency and effectiveness. You will be responsible for creating designs from initial concept to final product while collaborating with various teams to meet project timelines. Responsibilities

• Create detailed mechanical designs using engineering principles.
• Conduct testing and analysis on prototypes.
• Collaborate with other engineers on design integration.
• Prepare technical documents, including specifications and manuals.
• Identify issues and implement solutions as needed.
• Coordinate component assembly and testing phases.
• Ensure all designs adhere to safety standards.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers.
• Support project managers throughout the design lifecycle.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Advanced degree in relevant field is an advantage

Experience

• 5-7 years of experience in mechanical design engineering

Technical Skills

• 3D Modelling
• Thermal Analysis

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Detail-oriented

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification
• AutoCAD Certified Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA): Experience with FEA software for structural analysis.
• Experience in Design for Manufacturing (DFM): Knowledge of DFM principles to optimize designs for production.
