Job Description

Join our passionate team as a Veterinarian in Port Elizabeth, where you'll be responsible for diagnosing and treating various animal health issues. You will provide exceptional care for pets and work closely with pet owners to ensure their furry companions receive the best possible treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide emergency care for sick or injured animals.
  • Manage a diverse caseload, balancing clinical and surgical duties.
  • Guide clients in understanding health needs of their pets.
  • Potentially supervise interns or new staff members.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and their pets.
  • Participate in staff meetings and continuing education.
  • Develop and implement preventative healthcare plans.
  • Engage in research to improve veterinary practice.
  • Be available for on-call duties as necessary.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science or equivalent
Experience
  • 5 years of experience in a veterinary role preferred
