Job Description

As the Day Care Center Director, you will oversee the overall management and operations of our day care center. You will be responsible for ensuring that our centre complies with regulatory requirements while providing a nurturing environment for children.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day care center with an emphasis on high-quality childhood education.
• Foster a collaborative environment for staff and children alike.
• Develop and implement strategies for effective staff performance.
• Ensure that the center adheres to health and safety standards.
• Engage with parents to build strong relationships and trust.
• Evaluate educational and developmental programs regularly for effectiveness.
• Promote diversity and inclusion in the center's programs.
• Network with local community organizations to enhance recruitment and support.
• Administer staff training and professional development as needed.
• Set and monitor performance goals for staff and programs.
• Evaluate and handle any issues or conflicts that may arise.

Requirements

Education

• Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field

Experience

• Experience with diverse cultural populations and in a non-profit environment is advantageous.
