Job Responsibilities
  • Lead the hotel team to provide excellent guest services.
  • Oversee staff training and development programs.
  • Manage hotel budgets, including operational and capital expenses.
  • Work with department heads to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends and competition.
  • Ensure hotel compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Analyze financial reports and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to promote hotel offerings.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Master's degree is a plus
  • Staff Management Extensive experience managing hotel staff and operations.
  • Financial Management Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Communication Exceptional communication skills for interacting with guests and staff.
  • Problem Solving Strong problem-solving skills to address operational issues.
  • Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA)
  • First Aid Certification
  • English (Fluent)
  • Afrikaans (Conversational)
Advantageous
  • Experience in revenue management: Proficient in strategies to optimize hotel revenue and occupancy.
  • Event planning experience: Ability to coordinate and manage hotel events and functions.
