Job Description

As an Event Planner at Event Dynamics, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing various events, from corporate gatherings to private celebrations. Your role involves liaising with clients, vendors, and venues to ensure seamless execution of events, while adhering to budget constraints and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Organize and oversee events from conception to completion.
• Act as the main contact for clients, providing updates and addressing concerns.
• Develop detailed project plans and timelines for events.
• Manage vendor relationships and monitor performance.
• Analyze post-event feedback to improve future events.
• Prepare and administer event budgets, ensuring costs are controlled.
• Create promotional materials for events as needed.
• Schedule and run meetings with team members and clients.
• Ensure all necessary permits and insurance are obtained.
• Report on event outcomes and provide recommendations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in event planning or management

Technical Skills

• Event Management Software
• Marketing

Certifications

• Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Fluency in Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively in Afrikaans is a plus.
