Job Description

Join our dedicated team as an Occupational Therapist in Cape Town. You will play a key role in the rehabilitation process by helping patients develop skills necessary for daily living and working.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients' physical, mental, and emotional abilities.
• Create tailored rehabilitation programs to meet individual goals.
• Review clients' progress and modify treatment plans accordingly.
• Engage clients in meaningful therapeutic activities.
• Work closely with families to provide education and support.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers for holistic care.
• Document all aspects of client care and treatment outcomes.
• Conduct workshops and seminars on health promotion.
• Research and implement new therapeutic techniques.
• Advocate for client needs within the healthcare environment.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
• Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy is an advantage

Experience

• 3 years experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
