We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in veterinary medicine and a genuine love for animals. You will provide excellent patient care, perform surgical procedures, and engage in client education, ensuring every pet receives the best possible treatment.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients.

• Assist in the training of junior veterinarians and support staff.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)

Experience

• 4+ years of clinical experience preferred

• Emergency Care
• Preventive Medicine

Certifications

• Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certification in acupuncture for pets: Specialized training in acupuncture techniques applicable to animal care.
• Experience in shelter medicine: Familiarity with managing health care in animal shelters.
