QA Engineer

Job Description

Join us as a QA Engineer in Johannesburg, where your contributions will directly impact the quality of our software products. You will be involved in defining testing protocols, collaborating with developers, and performing regression testing to ensure every release maintains our rigorous standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform exploratory testing to identify potential improvement areas.
• Ensure compliance with the quality standards and policies.
• Collaborate in a team to review test cases and provide feedback.
• Monitor and report testing progress and results to stakeholders.
• Assist in implementing test automation strategies and tools.
• Train junior QA team members on testing methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance

Technical Skills

• JIRA
• CI/CD Tools

Soft Skills

• Communication Skills
• Collaboration

Certifications

• Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile and Scrum frameworks.
• Knowledge of Security Testing: Experience with security testing practices and tools.
