Job Description

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Drum Saw Operator. You will be responsible for setting up and operating the drum saw, ensuring precision in cutting wood materials according to specifications. We're seeking someone who can work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the drum saw machine to cut wood components to required specifications.
• Perform machine adjustments and maintenance to maintain efficiency.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure correct cutting parameters are followed.
• Inspect materials for defects prior to cutting.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Assist with other production tasks as required.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Trade Certificate in Industrial Manufacturing or related field is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in operating a drum saw in a manufacturing setting

Languages

• English: Fluent
