Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Hospitality Manager to oversee the operations of our hotel in Durban. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in hotel management, with a focus on enhancing guest satisfaction and optimizing operational efficiency. You will ensure that all departments work in harmony to deliver the best possible experience to our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Direct all hotel operations and staff management activities.
  • Establish and achieve hotel revenue and profitability goals.
  • Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction through proactive service.
  • Prepare and manage departmental budgets.
  • Develop marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility.
  • Monitor compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Manage the recruitment and training of hotel staff.
  • Oversee guest check-in and check-out processes.
  • Conduct staff performance evaluations and provide feedback.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork and collaboration among staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or Business Administration
Experience
  • 5+ years in hospitality with 2+ years in a management position
