Job Description

We are currently seeking a Litigation Specialist with strong Paralegal skills to join our dynamic legal team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be instrumental in assisting with the preparation and management of case files, conducting legal research, and supporting attorneys throughout litigation processes.

Responsibilities

  • Support the litigation team by preparing case documents.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and summarize findings.
  • Organize discovery materials and prepare for legal depositions.
  • Coordinate with various parties to gather necessary evidence.
  • Assist in trial preparations including witness organization and exhibit management.
  • Ensure compliance with court rules and procedures in filings.
  • Prepare case-related correspondence and documentation.
  • Monitor the progress of cases and update case management systems.
  • Assist attorneys in strategy meetings and brainstorming sessions.
  • Conduct interviews with clients and witnesses as required.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Law or related field
  • Diploma in Legal Studies is an advantage
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal
