Quality Assurance Tester

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Tester to join our dynamic team in Centurion. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software products through comprehensive testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test documentation for software products.
• Conduct performance testing to ensure applications are scalable and efficient.
• Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and methodologies.
• Work closely with the product team to understand product specifications.
• Provide input on new features based on user experience and test findings.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Relevant QA certifications are preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in quality assurance testing

Technical Skills

• API Testing
• Performance Testing

Soft Skills

• Effective Communication
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Certified Software Tester (CST)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in mobile application testing: Hands-on experience testing mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.
• Familiarity with test management tools: Knowledge of tools like TestRail for managing test cases.
