Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Process Designer to enhance our engineering projects in Cape Town. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in designing mechanical processes, ensuring efficiency, and driving innovation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design lifecycle of mechanical systems from concept through to execution.
• Ensure that designed systems are scalable and cost-effective.
• Collaborate with suppliers to select suitable materials and components.
• Present findings and designs to stakeholders for approval.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering methodologies.
• Maintain documentation for all design processes and iterations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical process design
