Job Description

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Johannesburg office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing financial reports, and assisting in forecasting and budgeting processes. You will play a critical role in supporting financial decision-making within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data to assist in strategic planning and decision-making.
• Create comprehensive financial reports for internal stakeholders.
• Support the budgeting and financial forecasting processes.
• Assess and report on financial performance metrics.
• Collaborate with teams to drive financial efficiency.
• Maintain financial records in accordance with standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide mitigation strategies.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives related to financial operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis or related roles

• Risk Analysis
• Data Analysis Tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau)

Certifications

• FRM (Financial Risk Manager)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with financial modelling and forecasting tools: Hands-on experience with predictive modelling techniques.
