Job Description

We are seeking a Carburetor Specialist for our automotive workshop in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in carburetor maintenance, repair, and tuning services.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and repair carburetor systems across diverse vehicle models.
• Calibrate carburetors to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot carburetor issues.
• Educate and mentor junior technicians on best practices in carburetor maintenance.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies for carburetors.
• Collaborate with the service team to enhance customer service quality.
• Adapt to technological changes in vehicle fuel systems over time.
• Promote a safety-first attitude in all aspects of work.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical diploma in Automotive Engineering or related field is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Carburetor Specialist or similar role.
