Job Description

Our Durban store is seeking an experienced Retail Manager who will be responsible for leading our sales team, managing operations, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate has a strong background in retail management and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee store operations with an emphasis on delivering the best customer experience.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff, cultivating an engaged workforce.
  • Ensure effective inventory management, including ordering and restocking.
  • Set and achieve ambitious sales targets through strategic planning.
  • Analyze sales performance trends, presenting findings to upper management.
  • Supervise the implementation of store visual merchandising standards.
  • Assist customers with inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Enforce health and safety regulations in the store environment.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to manage stock deliveries effectively.
  • Encourage a team culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Retail Management or Business Administration
Experience
  • 5+ years of retail management experience preferred
