Job Description

As a Cybersecurity Specialist in Port Elizabeth, you will be responsible for safeguarding critical data systems and protecting against cyber threats. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and practices. You will work within a team to implement security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain incident response strategies.
• Utilize threat intelligence to strengthen security posture.
• Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigations.

• Participate in cybersecurity drills and training exercises.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role
