Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team in East London. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing pharmaceutical care to patients, and ensuring compliance with regulations. This role requires a strong knowledge of pharmacology and excellent communication skills to educate patients about their medications.

Responsibilities

  • Review and assess medication therapies for appropriateness.
  • Conduct patient counseling and provide health advice.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  • Document patient interactions and maintain confidentiality.
  • Participate in pharmacy operations and management discussions.
  • Assist in managing drug utilization reviews.
  • Stay informed on the latest pharmacy technology and trends.
  • Engage in patient care initiatives and health promotion.
  • Provide recommendations for formulary management.
  • Attend pharmacy practice meetings and workshops.

Requirements

Education
  • B.Pharm or equivalent in Pharmacy
  • Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field are advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years in retail or clinical pharmacy
