Job Description

As an Operations Manager in our Durban plant, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and leading a team of skilled professionals towards achieving operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient workflow throughout the operational processes.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement among staff.
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.
• Implement advanced manufacturing technologies where applicable.
• Train and develop staff for optimal performance.
• Manage supplier relationships to secure best materials and services.
• Propose actionable plans to reduce waste and costs.
• Drive health and safety initiatives within the manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in operations management within the manufacturing sector
