Job Description

As a Windmill Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliable operation of our wind turbines. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting various windmill systems to enhance efficiency and safety. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of windmill systems.
• Manage routine and emergency repairs effectively.
• Assist in the installation of new equipment when required.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Engage in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Communicate effectively with project managers about maintenance needs.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Document outcomes of operational activities for reporting purposes.
• Maintain an organized workshop and ensure tools are in good condition.

Requirements

Education

• National Certificate in Wind Turbine Maintenance or equivalent
• Technical diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a Windmill Mechanic or in a similar role

• Mechanical Aptitude

Certifications

• Valid Driver's License

Languages
