Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapy Lead to oversee service delivery in our Port Elizabeth office. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in occupational therapy and a passion for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a dedicated team of occupational therapists.
• Design and monitor the efficacy of therapy interventions.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments.
• Ensure high-quality therapy services in compliance with policies.
• Provide continuous professional development for staff.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Manage departmental budget and resources effectively.
• Promote a positive work environment focused on patient-centric care.
• Participate in research and quality improvement projects.
• Educate patients and families about therapy processes and goals.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in occupational therapy with supervisory experience preferred
