As a Public Health Officer, you'll be at the forefront of enhancing community health in Cape Town. Your role will include analyzing health data, implementing health initiatives, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Responsibilities

• Implement strategic public health programs that address community needs.
• Conduct workshops and seminars to educate community on health topics.
• Analyze health data to inform program development and policy-making.
• Coordinate with governmental bodies and NGOs for health initiatives.
• Prepare and present research findings to diverse audiences.
• Assist in securing funding and grants for health-related projects.
• Develop marketing strategies to promote health initiatives.
• Lead health promotion campaigns and initiatives at the community level.
• Advocate for health policy changes that benefit community health.
• Maintain relationships with health stakeholders to foster collaboration.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field
• Master's degree in Public Health or equivalent is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in community health or program management
