Job Description

Our leading clinic is in search of a compassionate and experienced Pediatric Surgeon. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for performing surgical procedures on infants, children, and adolescents. Your expertise will enable young patients to lead healthier lives while ensuring their comfort and safety during treatments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various surgical procedures on pediatric patients, ensuring safety and efficacy.
  • Conduct patient evaluations and develop clear procedural plans.
  • Discuss treatment procedures with patients and their families to set realistic expectations.
  • Maintain high standards of care throughout the surgical process.
  • Monitor recovery of patients post-surgery and provide guidance on aftercare.
  • Engage in continuous learning to keep up-to-date with the latest techniques in pediatric surgery.
  • Establish a solid rapport with patients and guardians to foster trust and comfort.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment strategies.
  • Advocate for younger patients in all aspects of treatment.
  • Engage in research initiatives aimed at improving pediatric care.

Requirements

Education
  • MBChB or equivalent medical degree
  • Completion of a specialized residency in Pediatric Surgery
Experience
  • At least 5 years of extensive experience in pediatric surgery with a diverse range of cases.
