Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, experience in medication management, and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team. As a pharmacist at PharmaCare, you will dispense medications, provide patient counseling, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate dispensing of medications and health products.
• Engage with patients to provide consultation on medication uses and side effects.
• Document patient interactions and maintain a detailed record of medication therapies.
• Monitor and evaluate patients' medication regimens for potential drug interactions.
• Ensure adherence to national regulations and quality standards.
• Work closely with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in community outreach programs to educate patients about health topics.
• Continuously enhance knowledge of pharmaceuticals and healthcare practices.
• Assist in managing and maintaining the pharmacy's inventory.
• Support patients with medication management programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
• Pharmacist internship experience preferred

Experience

• Experience within community pharmacy or clinical settings is a plus
