Public Health Officer

Job Description

The Public Health Officer will play a key role in supporting health initiatives and improving the overall health of communities in Pretoria. You will work closely with health professionals, community leaders, and government agencies to implement effective public health strategies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough epidemiological research to identify health trends.
• Engage with community leaders to address local health concerns.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for health education.
• Implement health promotion campaigns across various platforms.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic health approaches.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of health programs.
• Serve as a liaison between the community and health organizations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or Social Sciences
• Master's degree in Public Health preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in public health policy or community health programs
