Job Description

As a Healthcare Administrator, your primary responsibilities will include managing budgets, scheduling staff, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a passion for improving healthcare services in the Durban area.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the administrative functions of the healthcare facility.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and policies.
  • Coordinate staff schedules and manage payroll.
  • Monitor the facility’s budget and financial performance.
  • Support patient care by optimizing service delivery processes.
  • Develop and implement operational policies to enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain records and ensure data privacy compliance.
  • Liaise with other healthcare professionals to promote collaboration.
  • Address patient complaints and feedback to improve services.
  • Prepare reports for management on operational performance.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
  • Master's degree is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare administration or management
