Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled General Practitioner to join our team in Pretoria. This role is critical in providing comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, diagnosing and treating a variety of health issues while maintaining the highest standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients to identify health issues.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Consult with other healthcare providers as needed.
• Advise on lifestyle changes to improve patient health.
• Participate in continuing education and training.
• Assist with minor surgical procedures.
• Engage in follow-up care to monitor patient progress.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Postgraduate qualification in Family Medicine is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in general practice

• Diagnostic skills

Certifications

• Palliative Care Certification
• Child Healthcare Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
