UX Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented UX Designer to join our dynamic team in Durban. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing the user experience of our products by applying user-centered design principles. You will collaborate closely with product managers and developers to design seamless and engaging user interfaces. Your creativity and analytical skills will be vital in making data-driven design decisions, ultimately improving our products' usability and aesthetic appeal.

Responsibilities

• Design user-centric interfaces that are aligned with user goals and business objectives.
• Use data analytics to refine user experience based on usage patterns.
• Facilitate design workshops to brainstorm ideas and feedback.
• Develop and maintain design documentation and style guides.
• Collaborate with product and marketing teams to develop product identity.
• Create engaging design solutions that improve user retention and engagement.
• Optimize existing user interfaces based on actionable data from testing.
• Present design ideas and prototypes to stakeholders for feedback and approval.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interactive Media, Design or related field
• Master's degree in UX Design is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of UX/UI design experience

• Nielsen Norman Group UX Certification
