UX Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented UX Designer to join our dynamic team in Durban. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing the user experience of our products by applying user-centered design principles. You will collaborate closely with product managers and developers to design seamless and engaging user interfaces. Your creativity and analytical skills will be vital in making data-driven design decisions, ultimately improving our products' usability and aesthetic appeal.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects from conception to execution, ensuring a user-focused product.
• Analyze user behavior through qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Iterate and refine designs based on user feedback and usability tests.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration of designs.
• Utilize software tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD for design work.
• Create accessible designs that cater to diverse user needs.
• Engage in cross-departmental collaboration to align designs with marketing strategies.
• Monitor project timelines and milestones to ensure timely delivery.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interactive Media, Design or related field
• Master's degree in UX Design is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of UX/UI design experience
