The Longwall Plow Operator will be crucial in operating advanced machinery for coal extraction in underground mines. You will ensure that all equipment functions optimally while adhering to strict safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Effectively operate longwall plows while monitoring performance.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs to ensure machinery is functioning correctly.
• Communicate production summaries to the Underground Mining Supervisor.
• Follow safety protocols at all times to guarantee a safe work environment.
• Participate in safety training and drills as required.
• Assist in training new operators on equipment handling and safety practices.
• Ensure all equipment is cleaned and stored appropriately after use.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to enhance operational effectiveness.
