UX Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a UX Designer to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong portfolio showcasing their work in user experience design, illustrating a keen understanding of user needs and behaviors. You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to create engaging and intuitive interfaces that enhance user satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with UI designers to ensure alignment between UX and visual design.
• Develop and maintain design documentation and guidelines.
• Conduct usability testing to evaluate product designs.
• Iterate designs based on user feedback and usability test results.
• Ensure designs are accessible and align with best practices in usability.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in User Experience Design or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design

Technical Skills

• Wireframing
• Interaction Design

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Nielsen Norman Group UX Certification
• Interaction Design Foundation Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
